Are you planted in the right environment?

The most important ingredient to any living flowering plant is the soil and the environment. Have you ever noticed how a plant can quickly respond to its environment? If you put it in a pot and set it in a dark corner with cheap and depleted soil with little water, it may begin to wilt and die after just a few days. But if you simply transplant that same wilted flower into a pot with nutrient enriched soil, add some water & set it in partial sunlight, it will respond within hours. The flower will straighten and lean towards the sun and the leaves will no longer wilt and look lifeless. Same plant, different environment. It’s a simple fix with drastically different results. We, as human beings, are no different.

So the next time you feel like you are spinning your wheels and still feel like you are not thriving, take a look at your immediate environment. What does your soil look like? Is it packed with vitamins and nutrients or is it the most depleted substance you could easily grab without much thought or effort. How about the sunlight? If you living with your blinds closed and in the dark most of the time with little sunlight, chances are your disposition and your outlook on life are not as cheery and optimistic as it could be. Now, what does the pot look like that you are sitting in? What is around you in your garden? Are you existing amongst the weeds or have you surrounded yourself with other beautiful flowers that are thriving as they should while enhancing your environment.
