Elinor Tatum is a publisher and Editor in Chief of the New York Amsterdam News, the oldest and largest black newspaper in the City of New York and one of the oldest, ethnic papers in the country.

Elinor shares her pathway, struggles and all, from grade school to becoming one of the youngest publishers in the history of African American press. She has an extensive biography with numerous awards. She has appeared on WNBC evening news, ARISE, The O’Reilly Factor, 20/20, New York 1, CUNY TV, the Today Show, and NBC Nightly News. She is an activist, successful business woman, a mother and a shining example of a woman who overcame challenges on her way to becoming a woman without limits in NYC.
