14 Days of Meditation – How Morning Meditation Can Calm Anxiety Right Now!

Two days ago, I reset my own morning routine and turned off the breaking news of the morning and began my day with a 20 minute guided meditation on my back porch.  What a difference this 20 minutes made in my day.  I immediately felt a deep sense of calm and optimism for a harmonious and happy day in spite of the chatter around me.  I felt like I had put on a suit of armor that automatically repelled the swirling thoughts of fear that were being thrown off by the constant news cycle.  It allowed me to easily shift my focus to positive and right activity for my day and it carried me through the next 8 hours of productive work that needed to be done.
